The 2016 Republic Services Arizona Celebration of Freedom is Monday, July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. For the third consecutive year, this free event and the “coolest” independence festival in Arizona, will be held at the Mesa Convention Center and Mesa Amphitheatre campus, 263 N. Historic Downtown Glendale is creating a cool, holiday vibe on Saturday, July 9 to celebrate the city’s 10th annual Christmas in July celebration. Visitors will enjoy a fun-filled day of holiday crafts, Ollie the Trolley rides, sweet treats and exclusive deals from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Old Towne and Catlin Court, a visit with Santa Claus, as well as an opportunity to donate to a summer water drive.
