Whether you are a local Payson resident or a visitor\, you will be treated to a show well worth the trip.\nPayson is known for its beautiful weather in July and breathtaking sunsets. So bring your chairs\, a picnic basket and blanket\, or grab some food from one of the vendors that will be on hand and enjoy a day of fun. The fireworks show & games are all FREE to the public. The event will feature\, great food vendors\, bouncy houses\, games\, prizes\, music\, and beautiful scenery.  Don't forget that Payson is generally 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix.\nFor more information please call\n928-472-5110\n\n\n\n8:00 AM:\nPATRIOTIC CEREMONY:\nStart off the celebration with a patriotic salute to those men and women who have made this a free country.  Come join in as Payson's Patriotic Committee starts things off right with a flag raising ceremony and a reading of the Declaration of Independence.\n1-3:00 PM:\nFAMILY GAMES AND ACTIVITIES:\nFamilies will enjoy everything from sack races to egg toss to tug of war. Finally we will conduct the 7th Annual Payson Arizona Foot Races.  Our goal is to crown the fastest person in the Park.  We have age groups from toddler up to over 80 years old. Last year we had over 500 people compete in the foot races.\n4:00-9:00 PM\nLIVE MUSIC:\nThe Take Cover Band will take the stage at Green Valley Park and preform hits from The Beatles\, Johnny Cash\, Rolling Stones\, Led Zeppelin\, Eagles\, Bob Seger\, and so many more!  Bring your pop up\, blanket and settle in for a great night of music\, food and big boom!\n\n9:00 PM\nHUGE FIREWORKS SHOW\nEnjoy one of Arizona’s most spectacular fireworks shows. Surrounded on the west by the Mazatzal Mountain Range\, on the East by the Granite Dells and to the North the Majestic Mogollon Rim\, Green Valley Park is a picturesque setting for a spectacular night of fun\, bright lights and large boom! Due to frequent inclement weather we have had to adjust the shoot time of the show.  We will do everything we can to shoot at 9 PM however due to winds and late thunderstorms we may have to delay the show.  Please be patient as we will shoot off the fireworks as soon as it is safe to do so.\n\n\n
